High-Frequency Words: cold, before, its, read, those

Phonics/ Spelling: ai/ay words (examples – play, pail)

Math: Unit 9 – Number Relationships up to 120 and Coins

Important Dates:

*February 13^th – Valentine party 1:30-2:15

*February 16^th – student holiday

*February 25^th or 26^th – Jump Rope for Heart in PE

*February 26^th – Go Texan Day!

*March 5^th – Open House 6-7 p.m.

*March 6^th – WWB Spirit Day

*March 16-20  - SPRING BREAK

Our P.E. days are Tuesday and Thursday.  Please wear

safe shoes!

Rocket Reader has started!!!  Remember you may do book reports on ANY book your child has read.  You may help them write the report, but PLEASE don’t write it for them!  Doing the writing themselves is a very important skill.  Also, if the report is not signed or doesn’t have the number of pages, I’m sending them back home for you to add that information.
