In your child’s folder this week you will see a form for Veterans Day.  Please take a moment to read it and fill it out if it applies to you.  It is very important that I get these forms back by October 30th because I make a bulletin board from the information and pictures your child sends. This is a BIG celebration for first grade and your child is already working very hard to prepare for this special evening.  Thank you for all you do!!!

The kids are doing so good!  I’m so proud of the way they have learned our routines.  They are doing great work during our independent stations.  They even get to choose which station they go to each day!

Please remember when your child brings home a reader we have read that book in our reading groups.  You read it again at home to work on fluency and vocabulary.  J
