Thursday evening is Open House.  The kids have been working very hard on all of our farm unit activities.  It would be wonderful for them to be able to “show off” all our work.  If you can make plans to attend, please do so!  Thank you so much for all you do to help make this classroom a success!

Permission slips and $$$ for the field trip were due Wednesday!  If you haven’t sent these in for your child…PLEASE do so no later than Monday!

Also, due to the limited seating at The Grand for this performance and because of the nature of our field trip…we will NOT be taking parent chaperones.  There will be plenty of teachers to be with the students. 

KEEP WRITING THOSE BOOK REPORTS!!!  DON’T GET TOO FAR BEHIND!!!

Don’t forget to sign and return your child’s permission slip for our field trip in March to The Grand in Galveston.  There will be more information to follow. 

Remember to write those book reports!  Don’t get too far behind!  Spring is coming and it is harder to stay inside and write when the weather is beautiful!

Rocket Reader has started!!!  Remember you may do book reports on ANY book your child has read.  You may help them write the report, but PLEASE don’t write it for them!  Doing the writing themselves is a very important skill.  Also, if the report is not signed or doesn’t have the number of pages, I’m sending them back home for you to add that information.
