*May 22^nd – DRA and PAPI forms come home; please sign and return on Tuesday

*May 25^th – Memorial Day holiday

*MAY 26^th – please return DRA and PAPI forms

*June 1^st – Arts and Crafts day in our room (bring any art supplies you want)

*June 2^nd – Indoor Game Day (bring board games or books – NO ELECTRONICS PLEASE)

*June 3^rd – Last day of school (Don’t forget your yearbook for our signing party; if you don’t have one, don’t worry we will make something) / EARLY RELEASE AT NOON

Our P.E. days are Wednesday and Friday.  Please wear

safe shoes!

I am so pleased with our turn out for our Rocket Reader picnic!  It was a huge success!  I couldn’t have done it without you!  Thank you for helping with your child’s literacy!

Important Dates:

*May 19^th – Rocket Reader Celebration Day Please join us for our picnic lunch at 11:30.  You need to return the RSVP so we can have your nametag printed.  Park in the back and enter through the black gates.

*May 22^nd  – Field Day (bring an extra pair of clothes to change into after field day)

*May 22^nd – final day for lunch visits

*May 25^th – Memorial Day holiday

*June 3^rd – Last day of school/ EARLY RELEASE AT NOON

safe shoes!

We will have the students’ Rocket Reader shirts at school for them to change into on Tuesday.  They are a bright blue.  Please wear shorts and tennis shoes so we can have a comfortable day of playing inside and out.  We cannot wait to celebrate all the reading success of this program with the kids!  If you haven’t sent back in the RSVP for the picnic, PLEASE let me know if you plan on coming for lunch that day.  Also, don’t forget to bring a reward book for your Rocket Reader!
