Math Notes
Our next unit is telling time to the hour. We are also still working on problem solving using addition and subtraction.

From the Teacher *Reading groups have started! I’m so
happy! I told the kids that it is my FAVORITE part of the day...and I do mean that! I love having the small group time to meet with everyone. We have also started our Daily 5 routine. Ask your child about Read to Self, Listen to Reading and Work on Writing. They are doing so well.

*Don’t forget to pack a snack please!

We are learning about properties of matter. Ask your child about our chocolate chip experiment and our "yucky" apples!

I'm going to start reading groups next week. Your child's reading folder will start coming home soon...please sign the reading log every time your child brings it home and return it the next day.

My brother in law is getting married this weekend! We are celebrating all weekend in Galveston! Also, both my boys have their first fall ball games on Sunday! It is Gram's first t-ball game EVER! (He's my four year old)
